OXFORD, Miss. – No. 6 Florida fell in the series finale to No. 22 Ole Miss, 3-1, at the Ole Miss Softball Complex Sunday afternoon.

The Gators (29-8, 3-6 SEC) picked up a complete-game performance from
Kelly Barnhill (19-4) in the circle and out hit the Rebels (24-9, 5-3 SEC) seven hits to four at the plate. Barnhill, the senior right-hander also struck out eight over 6.0 innings of work.

Offensively, six different batters for Florida picked up a hit with junior
Kendyl Lindaman going 2-for-4 at the plate for her 10
th multi-hit game of the season.

Brittany Finney (7-5) picked up the win in the circle for Ole Miss after 4.1 innings pitched.
