Trinity Thomas is honored by SEC for eighth consecutive week. The three-time SEC Gymnast of the Week is this week's SEC Freshman of the Week.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After helping Florida win the Southeastern Conference regular-season title last Friday at Arkansas, Gator Trinity Thomas is the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced this morning.
Thomas' been honored in each of the league's last eight SEC weekly awards lists. This is her fifth SEC Freshman of the Week award. She's a three-time SEC Gymnast of the Week.

- Won two event titles in Florida's dual win at No. 20 Arkansas
- Won fifth uneven bars title of season with a 9.925
- Also shared sixth floor exercise title of season with a 9.925
- Runner-up in the all-around with SEC's third-highest total (and highest by a freshman) of the weekend at 39.55
- Ranked No. T2 in nation on bars and floor, No. 3 for all-around and No. T12 for beam
- Leads Florida in 2019 with 17 event titles.
