Gators Add Three to 2019-20 Roster

Ques Glover and Jason Jitoboh signed National Letters of Intent, and Anthony Duruji made his transfer to UF official.
The University of Florida men's basketball team added three to its 2019-20 roster on Wednesday, as Ques Glover and Jason Jitoboh signed National Letters of Intent and Anthony Duruji filed the necessary paperwork for his transfer to UF on Wednesday.
 
The freshman duo rounds out the Gators' five-man freshman class for the upcoming season, which also includes early signees Scottie Lewis, Tre Mann and Omar Payne.
 
Under NCAA transfer rules, Duruji will sit out for the 2019-20 season and have two years of eligibility to compete at Florida.

  • An outstanding athlete with the ability to play above the rim or step out and shoot from the perimeter.
  • Played in 65 games with 52 starts over two seasons at Louisiana Tech, averaging 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds to go along with 85 blocked shots and 69 3-pointers.
  • Earned 2018 Conference USA Freshman of the Year honors and followed that up by starting all 33 games as a sophomore and posting 12.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
  • Had three double-doubles as a sophomore, including 16 points and 14 rebounds at FIU. Also added a 22-point, nine-rebound outing at LSU.

  • Speedy point guard with great bounce and outstanding range.
  • Averaged 21 points per game and led Bearden to its first state championship as a senior, bringing home the TSSAA Class AAA title.
  • Earned state tournament MVP honors, highlighted by a 24-point performance in the championship game and a 20-point game in the semifinals.
  • A 2019 finalist for Class AAA Mr. Basketball and first-team Knox News Sentinel All-PrepXtra team.
  • Named the 2018 Knox News Sentinel Player of the Year and TSWA Class AAA All-State after averaging 20 points and helping Bearden to the Class AAA semifinals.
 
Jason Jitoboh

  • A rim protector with fantastic size with a good feel for the game.
  • Has a soft touch around the basket and is a solid passer in the post.
  • Helped Hamilton Heights to a 34-4 record and a Top 25 finish in MaxPreps' national rankings.
  • Averaged 10.1 points and 5.6 rebounds on the Nike EYBL circuit in the summer of 2018.
