The UF men's golf team is headed west to Pullman, Washington for regional play.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators men's golf team has been selected for the Pullman, Washington NCAA Regional, as announced on Golf Channel.

The Gators will be the No. 8 seed out of 14 teams at the regional.

Eighty-one teams and 45 individuals were selected to compete at one of six regional championships, each featuring 13 or 14 teams and five or ten individuals, May 13-15.

From regional competition, 30 teams (top five from each regional) and six individuals (top individual from each regional) will advance to the national championships to be played May 24-29 at The Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Oklahoma State won the 2018 men's golf tournament and Alabama took second. Oklahoma State currently holds the top spot in the Golfstat rankings.

The Gators return postseason experience in sophomores
Chris Nido and
John Axelsen and senior
Gordon Neale. Florida won their 2018 regional in record-breaking fashion with a 42-under-par final score of 822. Nido finished in second place with Axelsen close behind at T6. The Gators hope to come out with similar successes at this year's regional competition.
