
Gators Open 2019 Season with Three Contests in Primetime

The Gators open the season on August 24 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. against Miami.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida will begin its 2019 season with three-straight night games, as announced by the Southeastern Conference today, May 30.
As previously announced back in March, the 150th season of college football will kick off a week early as the 2019 Camping World Kickoff between the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes will be played on Aug. 24, in Orlando, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on ESPN.
UF's home opener against UT-Martin (Sept. 7) will be played at 7:30 p.m. and broadcast on either ESPNU or the SEC Network Alternate Channel. Meanwhile, the start time for Florida's first true road game of the campaign at Kentucky (Sept. 14) will be played at 7 p.m. and broadcast on ESPN.
In addition, Florida's schedule includes a 3:30 p.m. start for the UF-UGA game in Jacksonville, which will be televised by CBS.
Additional game times will be determined as the season progresses.
