Wednesday, July 3, 2019 | Men's Tennis
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Head coach Bryan Shelton and the Florida men's tennis program announced the addition of Joshua Goodger, a transfer from Tulsa, to the roster on Wednesday.
The former Tulsa Hurricane is currently enrolled at Florida and joins incoming freshmen Blaise Bicknell and Will Grant as the latest additions to the squad.
"We are very excited about Josh joining our program," Shelton said. "He brings another dimension to our team both physically at 6-5 and being a lefty, and emotionally as he is a fierce competitor. We know that his best tennis is ahead of him and he is prepared to do the work necessary to reach his individual goals as well as our team goals. I know that Josh will make a huge effort to add to our great culture. We are ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work with him."

Thoughts from Joshua:
"I have the very upmost respect for Coach Shelton and Coach Stump and under their guidance I know I can reach my full potential as a tennis player. I am looking forward to being apart of a successful team, that are clearly committed towards improving individually and as a team. I can't wait to compete as a Gator and bring more success to the team. Go Gators!"
