34 Gators finished their degrees this summer, including seven master's degrees and one PhD.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – This weekend, 34 University of Florida student-athletes participate commencement ceremonies at the Exactech Arena in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Six were part of NCAA title teams during their careers:

- 2017 NCAA Baseball – Nelson Maldonado
- 2016, 2017 (outdoor) and 2018 (indoor) Track & Field – KeAndre Bates
- 2018 & 2019 NCAA Indoor Track & Field – Kyren Hollis
- 2016, 2017 (outdoor) and 2018, 2019 (indoor) Track & Field – AJ McFarland
- 2016, 2017 (outdoor) and 2018 (indoor) Track & Field – Chris Olson
- 2010 and 2011 (indoor) – Christian Taylor
- Three won NCAA titles as Gators:
- KeAndre Bates won three 2017 individual NCAA titles (outdoor triple jump; indoor long and triple jump)
- Alicia Boren claimed the 20th NCAA individual gymnastics title for the Gators when she won the 2019 floor exercise crown
- Christian Taylor won 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold for triple jump and is reigning two-time World champion. He won four NCAA triple jump titles as a Gator (2009, 2010 indoor; 2010, 2011 outdoor)
- Two Gator graduates own school records:
- Alicia Boren – consecutive all-around competitions (54)
- Funda Nakkasoglu – career three-point shooting percentage (39.6%)
- Six graduate with honors.
- Cum Laude: Hannah Burns, Andrew Ivie, Nelson Maldonado, Lily Mann, Amelia Maughan, Stanley Wu
- Seven receive master's degrees this weekend – Ryan Farr (football), Chelsea Herndon (Softball), AJ McFarland (men's track & field), Allie Monserez (volleyball), Funda Nakkasoglu (women's basketball), Shelly Lyle (soccer), Sarah Troccoli (soccer) and one receives his PhD – Stephen Alli (Counseling Education)
- Six graduates will compete for UF in the 2019-20 season – Elisabeth Bergh (cross country), Josh Hammond (football), Abby Howell (diving), Rachael Kramer (volleyball), Kyle Trask (football) and Zada Williams (women's basketball)
