
Gators Ranked No. 10 in Latest AP Poll

The Gators have won nine consecutive games for the first time since the school-record 22-game winning streak that spanned the final 10 games of 2008 and first 12 games of 2009.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida (5-0, 2-0) sits at No. 10 in the AP Top 25 and No. 8 in the Amway Coaches Poll following their 38-0 victory over Towson.
The Gators have won nine consecutive games for the first time since the school-record 22-game winning streak that spanned the final 10 games of 2008 and first 12 games of 2009. Florida's winning streak is also the longest active streak in the SEC and is tied with Appalachian State for the third-longest active FBS streak (Clemson – 18; Ohio State – 10).
In addition, UF has outscored their opponents 91-3 over the last nine quarters, and they are outscoring opponents 105-17 in the second half this season.

This week's matchup between the Gators and No. 7 Auburn Tigers marks their 84th contest and their first game against each other since 2011, with their last game in Gainesville coming in 2007. The Tigers lead the overall series 43-38-2.
