
Gators Rated as Top Program in the Country

On Monday, D1baseball.com released its top five programs as part of its bi-annual Top 100 Programs rankings and the Florida Gators remain on top.
It's hard to argue with the facts:
Every two years, the staff at D1baseball.com releases its rankings of the Top 100 Programs in the country in an attempt to assess the overall health of all 300 schools in Division I baseball.

It's hard to argue with the facts:
- Florida made four trips to the College World Series in the past five seasons and won its first national title in 2017
- Overall, the Gators have reached the CWS seven times in the past 10 seasons -- more than any other program (TCU is closest with 5 appearances)
- Under head coach Kevin O'Sullivan, UF has earned a Top 8 national seed for the NCAA Tournament nine times in 12 seasons; the Gators earned a top four seed eight times in the past 10 seasons
- Florida became the first school ever to earn the No. 1 overall seed three times, doing so in 2012, 2016 and 2018
- Since 2010, the Gators have won five Southeastern Conference titles -- the most of any team in arguably the toughest conference in college baseball
- In 12 years under O'Sullivan, Florida has won 225 SEC games, the most in the conference
