Gator Tales 182: Start Up at 'The Swamp' and Josh Hammond 1-on-1

This week's episode previews Florida's home opener, discusses Jon Greenard's immediate impact, plus NFL cuts and Gators receiver Josh Hammond 1-on-1.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators took a rare step back from the action in Week 1, watching the rest of the college football world duke it out over the course of an eventful weekend. Now ready to officially open "The Swamp" for the 2019 season, the Gators are looking for marked improvement across the board when they host UT Martin on Saturday night.

On this week's show, host Adam Schick is joined by FloridaGators.com senior writers Scott Carter and Chris Harry to discuss the impact Hurricane Dorian had on campus and the Gators (1:30), what they learned after watching Week 1 (5:32), Kirk Herbstreit's critical comments about Feleipe Franks (8:08), expectations for the first home game (12:17), a breakout start for transfer Jon Greenard (15:18), the surprising cuts of former UF stars in the NFL (16:42), the fitting tribute planned for the late "Mr. 2 Bits" George Edmondson (21:38) and the scariest movies they've ever seen in the PAT (28:51).

Then, wide receiver Josh Hammond stops by to chat about approaching the end of his career, his favorite memories on- and off-the-field and his expectations for this year's offense (33:28)
