GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Receiver
Kadarius Toney has more highlight-reel plays to make for the Gators.
A dynamic player with the ball in his hands who missed seven games this season due to a shoulder injury, Toney announced Sunday afternoon on social media that he is returning for his senior season in 2020.
In 27 career games at UF, Toney has averaged 10.6 yards per touch from scrimmage. He has 47 carries for 419 yards (8.9 per carry) with one touchdown, and 50 receptions for 606 yards (12.1 per catch) and two touchdowns.

Trevon Grimes, cornerback
Marco Wilson and safety
Shawn Davis among UF's junior class to return to school for their senior season.
Toney suffered a shoulder injury in the second game of his junior season and missed the next six games. He finished the season with 59 yards rushing and 194 receiving as the Gators relied heavily on a senior quartet of receivers to finish 11-2 and the Gators' Orange Bowl win over Virginia.
A 5-foot-11, 194-pound former quarterback at Blount High School in Mobile, Ala., Toney had one catch and one carry in the Orange Bowl as another Mobile-area native, senior running back
Lamical Perine, stole the show with a career-high 138 yards rushing and three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving).
Toney made an impact prior to his injury when he took a screen pass from quarterback
Feleipe Franks in the season opener against Miami and darted through the Hurricanes defense for a 66-yard touchdown, the first of the season for Florida in its 24-20 win.
