
Perine Scores as Gators Showcase Talents at Senior Bowl

Former Gators shined in front of NFL personnel in Mobile
MOBILE, Ala. – Lamical Perine scored the first touchdown of the game to lead a group of former Gators at the 71st annual Reese's Senior Bowl on Saturday.
Perine found the endzone on a 16-yard pass from Justin Herbert, and used a diving-lunge to clear the goal line to give the South team the early 7-0 lead. The Orange Bowl MVP finished with two receptions for 17 yards and added 42 yards on the ground on seven carries.
The North ended up winning the contest, 34-17, at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Joining Perine on the offensive end, Van Jefferson caught two passes for 11 yards and returned a kick 34 yards.
Tyrie Cleveland, Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga also participated all week for the South team. Defensive statistics were not immediately available.
