Official: Lingard Enrolled at Florida

Lorenzo Lingard was a 5-star prospect coming out of University High School in Orange City.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators bolstered their running back corps with the addition of former Miami Hurricanes running back Lorenzo Lingard, who has officially enrolled at the University of Florida.

Lingard, who played the 2018 and 2019 seasons at Miami, played in six games as a true freshman and two as a sophomore. His 2018 season was derailed by a knee injury, and it was determined last October Lingard would redshirt the 2019 campaign.

Lingard is expected to be a redshirt sophomore in 2020.
