
Gators Open at No. 13 in Perfect Game Rankings

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The first round of preseason rankings are in, and the University of Florida baseball team is ranked No. 13 in Perfect Game's preseason edition of its College Top 25, which was released Wednesday.
Florida joins eight other Southeastern Conference programs in the ranking -- five of which are with the Gators in the top 15. The SEC East figures to once again be among the nation's best divisions with three teams ranked in the top 15 (Vanderbilt - 2, Georgia - 10, Florida - 13).
EIght of the Gators 2020 opponents are ranked in Perfect Game's preseason ranking, including five top-10 teams: at No. 7 Miami (Feb. 21-23), No. 10 Georgia (March 13-15), at No. 4 Arkansas (April 2-4), at No. 6 Auburn (May 1-3), No. 2 Vanderbilt (May 7-9).
Other ranked opponents traveling to Gainesville this year are: No. 14 Florida State (March 10), No. 22 Texas A&M (March 27-29), No. 18 Ole Miss (April 24-26).
The Gators open the 2020 season Feb. 14 against Marshall at McKethan Stadium. Season tickets and Flex Passes for 2020 Gators Baseball and the final season at McKethan Stadium are on sale now and can be purchased online through FloridaGators.com or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
