GAINESVILLE, Fla. – As the Gators honor their storied traditions this homecoming weekend with throwback 1960s uniforms, fans will have the opportunity to commemorate the occasion by obtaining a piece of Gators history. The University Athletic Association will sell a limited amount of 48 replica blue helmets signed by legendary Gator and 1966 Heisman Trophy winner Steve Spurrier and head coach Dan Mullen.
The one-in-a-lifetime piece of memorabilia is now available for purchase HERE, and it will be obtainable until Sunday, Nov. 1, at 11:59 p.m.
Rarely seen in recent memory, the blue helmet—which features the classic Florida "F" logo, combines a multitude of years and traditions dating back to the 1960s. It features a gray facemask and a multi-stripe with orange in the center and white on both sides, resembling the look of the blue helmet worn as an option by Gators before adopting the orange helmet in 1969.
The blue helmet with the classic "F" logo will accompany the blue jersey and white pants as part of the retro uniforms the Gators will be wearing Saturday as they take on the Missouri Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the game are still available and can be purchased here.

Per the SEC, signage with specific guidelines will be available at all gates and entry points. Florida's full game day information can be found here.
