Auburn, Ala. – Ashley McCool led the No. 9 University of Florida women's diving efforts with a seventh-place finish on the 1-meter board.

McCool's tally of 291.00 earned her one of the eight spots in the evening finals.

Rounding out the top-10 preliminary scores were Elizabeth Perez and Brooke Madden.

Perez earned a ninth-place finish with her score of 286.70, and Madden finished just behind her in tenth with her score of 284.90.

Emma Whitner was the fourth and final Gator to compete in the event, tallying an overall score of 238.75 and a 24th-place finish.

What's Next

McCool and the rest of the 1-meter field will open up the first finals session of the week, followed by the women's 200 medley relay. The women's 800 free relay will conclude day one after the men's 3-meter finals.
