Trinity Thomas stretched her string of consecutive Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week honors to five after her performance last Friday in No. 2 Florida's win versus then No. 8 Alabama. Â

This is her sixth SEC Gymnast of the Week recognition of 2020 and ninth of her Gator career. The last Gator to claim six SEC Gymnast of the Week honors was Gator Great
Bridget Sloan in 2016.

Thomas' All-Around Win:
- Turned in the nation's second-highest and the SEC's leading total for the weekend (39.65) as the Gators defeated No. 8 Alabama to claim the SEC regular-season title
- Sixth all-around win of season and 12th of collegiate career.
- Her five appearances among the season's top-15 totals leads the nation's all-arounders.
- 9.9 or better on each apparatus versus Alabama. Shared second on beam (9.95) and bars (9.90) plus shared third on beam (9.90).Â
- 21 event titles in 2020 and 47 for collegiate career. Fourth Gator to earn 40 or more career event titles as a sophomore
- Current Road to National rankings – all-around (No. 6), balance beam (No. T-2) and floor exercise (No. T-1).
