GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Beginning March 8, ESPN networks will combine to carry 75 Southeastern Conference baseball games, in addition to every game of the 2020 SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala.
Â
Florida is scheduled to make 10 appearances on network television in 2020. In addition to UF's games on network television, all of Florida's home games will air online via SEC Network+ and all conference games will be available via SEC Network+.
Â
The Gators' 10 television games will all be against teams ranked in the
USA Today Sports Preseason Coaches Poll, including all three games of the Vanderbilt series – which will be the final regular season games ever played at McKethan Stadium.
Â
The SEC starts the season with nine teams ranked in the preseason Top 25, the most of any conference. With 75 games on the network throughout the spring, SEC Thursday Night Baseball will be in full swing on ESPNU and SEC Network, featuring a preseason Top 25 team every week of the regular season. In addition, SEC Network will join forces with ESPNU to televise the final weekend of SEC action, May 14-16.
This year's schedule also includes a handful of television wildcard selections, allowing the SEC Network the opportunity to determine the best television matchup at a later date. The schedule closes out with SEC Network and ESPN2 airing the entirety of the SEC Baseball Tournament May 19-24.
ESPN will present more than 1,000 NCAA baseball games across 17 conferences during the 2020 regular season across ESPN networks. ESPN's postseason coverage will include up to 153 games beginning with NCAA Regionals, with ESPNU opening the slate by televising the NCAA Baseball Selection Show (Monday, May 25 at noon). A complete postseason coverage plan will be announced by the network at a later date.
Â
Florida opens the 2020 season Friday, Feb. 14 against Marshall at McKethan Stadium. Season tickets and Flex Passes for 2020 Gators Baseball and the final season at McKethan Stadium are on sale now and can be purchased online throughÂ
