GAINESVILLE, Fla.
– Florida announced today that it has added a home-and-home series against Cal to its schedules for the 2026 and 2027 football seasons. The Gators will face the Golden Bears in Gainesville on Sept. 19, 2026, and UF will travel to Berkeley, Calif., for a non-conference contest on Sept. 4, 2027.

The Gators
recently announced a home-and-home series with Colorado for the 2028 and 2029 football seasons and
Texas for the 2030 and 2031 seasons.

UF and Cal first met on the gridiron on Sept. 14, 1974, when the two schools opened the season in Gainesville with a 21-17 Gators victory. Florida leads the series, 2-0, as the two teams last met in Tampa to open the 1980 season in a 41-13 UF win.
