
Nembhard Declares for NBA Draft, Retains Eligibility

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Sophomore point guard Andrew Nembhard has declared for the NBA Draft and will sign with an NCAA-certified agent, allowing him to retain his eligibility and return for his junior season if he chooses to withdraw.
The Aurora, Ontario, native has started all 67 games over his two seasons at Florida and dished 367 assists, including two of the eight single-season totals in school history. Nembhard led the SEC in assist-to-turnover ratio in 2019-20, posting a 2.2 mark.
Nembhard also boosted his scoring by 3.2 points per game in his sophomore campaign, averaging 11.2 with a pair of 25-point games in comeback wins against Alabama and Georgia.
