GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The big picture remains cloudy. For now, the coronavirus pandemic appears to have momentum on its side.
Still, until there is no hope for college sports in the fall, there is hope. Southeastern Conference athletic directors
met Monday in Birmingham in-person for the first time since the pandemic shut down college sports in mid-March.

Meanwhile, by now we all have our pandemic stories. Part of mine is typing this sentence from my bed Monday afternoon. The fever arrived late Saturday night and other symptoms soon followed. Sunday was kind of a blur. Today is much better. On Tuesday there is an appointment to receive a rapid-result test for Covid-19. If this is Covid-19 checked into my body, I consider myself one of the fortunate ones. If not, even better.
As we all wait to see what happens next, thankfully there is still stuff happening in the world not related to the coronavirus pandemic. And some of it has to do with the Gators.
