Monday, October 4, 2021 | Football
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- It was a busy week four for the Gators on the offensive side of the ball.
Offensive Highlights
Offensive firepower. That's a proper headline for Florida's NFL stars as week four concludes.
In New Orleans, Gators rookie receiver and New York Giants' first round pick Kadarius Toney wasn't shy to show off his shiftiness. "The Human Joystick" eclipsed a career high in both receptions with six and yards with 70, helping New York to a win in overtime.
Rams receiver Van Jefferson shined as well, nabbing a game-high six reception for 90 yards, including a 14-yard first quarter score.
Elsewhere on the west coast, Seahawks receiver Freddie Swain also found the endzone. Swain finished with three receptions for 20 yards and a 13-yard touchdown grab.
Defensive Highlights
Falcons defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. made an impact for a third consecutive week. The seventh-year pass rusher recorded two tackles for loss, including a big fourth quarter run stuff against Washington.
