Yuxin Lin shot a career low 6-under for the fourth lowest by a junior in program history.

FORT WORTH, Texas - Yuxin Lin led the Gators in day one of the Colonial Collegiate on Monday, finishing tied for second overall at 2-under.

Lin turned in a career low 64 (-6) in round one, tying the fourth lowest score by a junior in program history. The last Gator to do so was J.D. Thompson in 2014 and the most recent 64 was by Ricky Castillo at last season's Gator Invitational. A clean scorecard in the first round, Lin drained six birdies in the round and nine on the day.

Florida placed ninth as a team with Castillo (T41), Joe Pagdin (T41), John DuBois (T50) and Christophe Stutts (T66) rounding out the lineup.

The final round is set for tomorrow with the Gators teeing off at 9 a.m. ET.
