Gators to Open Gates for Fall Practice, Oct. 23 Exhibition Game

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The gates of Florida Ballpark will be open to the general public when the Gators officially begin their fall practice season on Tuesday, Oct. 12.
Admission will also be free of charge for Florida's Oct. 23 exhibition against Georgia Southern, which begins at 2 p.m. The format includes a doubleheader of two seven-inning games on the grounds of Alfred A. McKethan Field at Florida Ballpark, with game two scheduled to begin 40 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Gates open two hours prior to first pitch and paid concessions will be provided for those in attendance.
As for the practice schedule, the Gators will hit the diamond at 2:30 p.m. on day one this upcoming Tuesday. Below is an overview for the opening week of practice.
Gates will open at approximately the same time as the start of practice each day of the fall.
