GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida head football coach Billy Napier announced Wednesday the addition of Keary Colbert as an assistant, coaching the wide receivers.
Colbert arrives to The Swamp after spending the last six seasons at his alma mater, USC, in roles of offensive analyst (2016-17), tight ends (2018) and wide receivers coach (2019-21). Prior to his stint with Bama, he was the wide receivers coach at Georgia State in 2013 and worked with current Miami Dolphins wide receiver Albert Wilson to a 1,000 yard pass catcher that year. Colbert arrived at GSU after serving as volunteer coach (2012) at Pace Academy in Atlanta.

He joined the staff in 2010 as a graduate assistant working with tight ends.
Colbert was drafted in the second round of the 2004 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers and spent four seasons (2004-07) in Carolina where he set rookie season records for receptions (47), receiving yards (754) and receiving touchdowns (5).
