
Riffice Named SEC Co-Player of the Week

Gators captain recognized for strong weekend of play
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Florida's Sam Riffice was named the Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Riffice picked up the honor after going 4-0 across doubles and singles matches last weekend at Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
His singles victories included two wins over the No. 36 and No. 62 players in the country, while his triumphs in doubles with fellow captain Duarte Vale clinched the doubles point against the Rebels and the Bulldogs.
Riffice and the No. 2 Gators will host No. 6 TCU on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
