Â
Quotables – Head Coach Jeff Poppell
Â
"Overall, it was a great first day for the Gators with 5 individuals earning All-American honors in addition to both of our relays. Thus far, we've scored in every event. I'm super proud of the way our women competed today and look forward to seeing them build on that momentum tomorrow."
Â
Diving Coach Bryan Gillooly
Â
"I am very proud of how both girls competed today. The Women's one-meter event at this level is always very tight and today was no exception. Elizabeth just missed one dive that kept her from advancing but competed well otherwise. Ashley also had one miss in the prelims that kept her out of the Final but was excellent in the consolation final moving up six spots. We are off to a great start!"
