Nine Gators Receive NFL Combine Invitations

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Although the National Football League will not host a traditional NFL Combine this spring due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, nine Gators received the honor to be considered among the top NFL prospects in the nation ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Shawn Davis, Stone Forsythe, Trevon Grimes, Evan McPherson, Kyle Pitts, Tedarrell Slaton, Kadarius Toney, Kyle Trask and Marco Wilson were officially invited to what would have been the 2021 NFL Scouting Combine.
The NFL made it known earlier this year that the combine would be conducted in a different format with in-person workouts taking place at college campuses during individual pro days.
Florida will host pro day Wednesday, March 31, providing a total of 17 draft-eligible players the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of NFL scouts. This year's pro day will not be open to the public, but fans can tune in to FloridaGators.com and the @GatorsFB social media platforms for coverage of UF's NFL prospects as the draft approaches.
Overall, the Gators have had 255 players invited to the combine.
