Gators Hit the Road for Second Straight Top-15 Weekend Matchup

Florida heads to Knoxville, Tenn. to take on the Tennessee Volunteers in a three-day weekend series.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 12 Florida baseball team (20-9, 5-4 SEC) heads north for a weekend matchup against the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers (20-5, 7-2 SEC). The series is slated to begin on Friday, April 9, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET and airing on SEC Network+. The two teams will return to play on Saturday under the lights with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. and broadcast coverage featured on SEC Network. The series will conclude on Sunday, April 11 at 1 p.m. ET.
This is the second-straight weekend that the Gators have played a top-10 team in the D1Baseball rankings. Last weekend, Florida welcomed No. 3 Ole Miss to Gainesville. The Gators clinched the series with a pair of wins over the Rebels.
This is the 241st meeting between Florida and Tennessee. The Gators hold a 153-87 overall record over the Volunteers and are 23-13 under head coach Kevin O'Sullivan.
