The Gators followed up a 3.50 GPA in the fall with a new program record 3.66 GPA this spring.
Florida Softball Leads the Way with Program Record GPA

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida softball team set a new program record with a 3.66 GPA during the spring semester. The mark bests the previous program record of 3.65, which was set in the spring of 2020.
The 3.66 GPA was also the highest among all of Florida's athletic programs this semester.
"What this team has achieved in the classroom this semester is impressive to say the least." Head Coach Tim Walton said. "The fact that the entire team earned a place on the SEC Community Service Team, won an SEC Regular Season Championship and also set a program record for the highest GPA in a semester is a testament to their dedication and focus. I'm extremely proud of our team and the way they have taken on every challenge in front of them this year."
This semester 21 players on the team achieved a 3.00 or higher GPA, while four Gators earned a 4.0 GPA.
Earlier this month Natalie Lugo and Jaimie Hoover graduated with their undergraduate degrees and Katie Chronister graduated with her master's degree.
