Five Gators Named to SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

Biondi, Debove, DuBois, Girona and Stutts earned the academic accolade
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2021 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll was announced by the league on Thursday and the Florida men's golf team saw five members named – Fred Biondi, Quentin Debove, John DuBois, Manny Girona and Christophe Stutts.
This is the third-straight honor for Girona and second consecutive accolade for Biondi. Both Debove and DuBois earned a spot on the SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll a season ago.
Between lacrosse, baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track & field, the University of Florida had an astounding 132 student-athletes named to the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.
To be recognized for the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must meet the following criteria: 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
