Echols, Lindaman Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It was announced early Wednesday afternoon that Florida softball's Charla Echols and Kendyl Lindaman were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team.
Echols and Lindaman are now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, which will be announced Thursday, July 29.
This is Echols first academic all-district honor, while this year's selection is the third of Lindaman's career. Lindaman was also named the 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year.
The duo's selection brings the program's total to 38 honors by 23 student-athletes, with 29 honors by 15 student-athletes under head coach Tim Walton's tenure.
It's also the sixth consecutive season that the Gators have placed someone on the academic all-district squad.

- Turned in 12 multi-RBI games, nine multi-hit games and a 26-game reached base safely streak this season.
- Produced the game-winning RBI five times and scored the game-winning run seven times.
