Annabell Fuller will make her second appearance for GBI at the biennial event.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - For Annabell Fuller, every week this summer has topped the previous. Her final stop will take place at the 41st Curtis Cup from August. 26-28.
"I can't wait for Conwy, it's going to be so much fun. I'm really close to all the girls on the team and they are all lovely girls," said Fuller in an interview with The R&A.
The Gator is making her second appearance in the biennial event that matches the top female amateur golfers from Great Britain and Ireland against their counterparts from the United States. Teams - GBI & USA - are made up of eight players that compete in various match play matches in either singles or foursomes.
Fuller is the only returning player on either side after she played for GBI in 2018. She recently wrapped up a weekend at the AIG Women's Open where she was one of three amateurs to make the cut as she played in her first career major championship. She will team up with Charlotte Heath on Thursday to take on Rachel Kuehn and Emilia Migliaccio at 2:45 a.m. ET.
This year's match play event will be contested at the Conwy Golf Club in North Wales. All three days of the event will be broadcasted live on NBC Golf and Peacock. It will also be streamed on R&A's YouTube and Facebook channels as well as RandA.org. Coverage begins on Thursday at 2:30 a.m. ET on the Golf Channel. A complete schedule can be found here.
