Several Gators shined on defense
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With week three of the 2021 NFL season is almost in the books, several Gators shined on defense.
Defensive Highlights
Dante Fowler Jr. forced one fumble and recorded one sack and three tackles to help lead the Atlanta Falcons to a 17-14 win over the New York Giants.
Offensive Highlights
Van Jefferson helped keep the Los Angeles Rams undefeated with four receptions for 42 yards.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Falcons rookie Kyle Pitts gained 35 yards on two receptions including a big grab on 3rd down to help give the Falcons the win.
Special Teams Highlights
Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson stayed perfect on the season, going 1-for-1 on field goals with a 43-yarder and 3-for-3 on extra points.
