Thompson spent the 2018 season under Billy Napier as the director of recruiting and football logistics at Louisiana.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida head football coach Billy Napier announced Joshua Thompson as the director of football operations on Friday.
He most recently worked for the Auburn University football program as the director of football operations.
Prior to that, Thompson served as the executive director of recruiting and player personnel at the University of Arkansas from 2019-20.
Thompson worked in recruiting, personnel and operations at Texas A&M from 2010-17.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, he graduated from Texas A&M with both a bachelors of science in sports management and a masters of science in sports management and business administration.
