GAINESVILLE, FL – Money Mac sends Cincinnati to the Super Bowl
The five Gators set to play in Super Bowl LVI are tied for the most of any school in the nation.
AFC Highlights
He's done it again.
For the second straight week and fifth time this season, Bengals Rookie Kicker Evan McPherson kicked a game-winner.
None were more important than the one he kicked Sunday.
Overtime. Game tied. Next score wins the game. One kick and you're going to the big game.
One kick and you're fulfilling childhood dreams.
32 yards. Right. Down. The. Middle. Too easy.
For the first time since 1988, the Cincinnati Bengals are off to the Super Bowl.
McPherson did more than nail the game-winner to send Kansas City home. He gave Cincinnati the lead with just over 6 minutes left with a big boot from 52 yards away.
He's a perfect 12-for-12 in the playoffs. He's 12-for-14 on kicks beyond 50 yards this season. His 12 field goals from 50-plus are the most in NFL history. A historic season for McPherson's and it's only year one.
After his big moment, McPherson headed right over to embrace his former teammate. Chiefs Punter Tommy Townsend.
Gators forever.
NFC Highlights
Van Jefferson and Brandon Powell are off to Super Bowl with the Rams.
Second-year receiver Jefferson has been an integral part of an electric Rams offense all season.
For the second-straight week Jefferson played nearly 90% of LA's offensive snaps. He left late in the first half with a knee injury but returned to start the half two and played every second half snap.
Jefferson has 50 receptions, over 800 yards and six touchdowns on the season. Now, he's a win away from a ring.
With Powell electrifying the Rams' special teams and Jefferson showing his shiftiness on offense, Los Angles will be tough to beat at home in the Super Bowl.
Luckily for the Bengals, they've got a kicker with ice in his veins.
