Gators Set for Fall Exhibitions Against Jacksonville & Florida State

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Fans will have their first opportunity to watch the 2023 Florida softball team compete in a pair of exhibitions against Jacksonville this Friday at 7 p.m. and Florida State this Sunday at 2 p.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. The program will be accepting canned goods at the main gates of KSP Stadium during each of the exhibitions throughout the fall to donate to local charities.
The Gators bring back a solid core from the 2022 team that secured the program's 11th Women's College World Series appearance as 2022 NFCA All-American Skylar Wallace along with 2021 NFCA All-Americans Charla Echols and Elizabeth Hightower return for the 2023 season. In addition, Kendra Falby, Katie Kistler, Reagan Walsh, Lexie Delbrey, Avery Goelz and Sam Roe all look to follow up their breakout seasons from last year.
The program also welcomes four newcomers into the fold as freshmen Kaila Pollard and Olivia Gigante look to make an impact along with graduate transfers Pal Egan and Samantha Bender.
All exhibitions this fall are free to attend, but concession stands will not be open. Fans are encouraged to bring their own drinks and snacks.
