
Napier Set to Throw First Pitch for Gators Softball, Baseball Friday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida Head Football Coach Billy Napier will kick off this weekend's home series for UF softball and baseball Friday with a ceremonial first pitch.
The No. 4-ranked Gators softball team will host No. 14 Duke in the first game of this year's T-Mobile Tournament inside Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium at 6 p.m.
Meanwhile the UF baseball team, ranked No. 9 in the preseason, will open their season against Liberty at 7 p.m. inside Florida Ballpark.
Florida Baseball has an impressive collection of honorary first pitches for their opening home series. Napier will start the three-game series, followed by Kansas City Royals RHP Brady Singer Saturday at 4 p.m. and Tampa Bay Rays C Mike Zunino Sunday at 12 p.m.
