BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Florida Track and Field program had 17 athletes named to the 2022 All-SEC Indoor Track and Field Teams as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
First Team All-SEC members were winners of their respective events while Second Team All-SEC athletes finished on the podium with either silver or bronze medals.
The Freshman All-SEC team is comprised of first-year indoor competitors who had the highest place finish in their individual event.
Florida had five athletes make the First Team All-SEC list. On the men's side, Dedrick Vanover (60m) and Champion Allison (400m) earned first-team honors for the first time in their careers.
Allison finished on the podium twice this weekend, also earning a silver medal as the anchor leg for the 4x400 relay team.
Anna Hall, Grace Stark and Jasmine Moore also earned First Team All-SEC honors after winning their individual events this past weekend.
Moore blew away the competition in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, becoming the third Gator (Yanis David and Shara Proctor) to achieve that feat. She is also just one of seven Florida women to ever win multiple events at the same SEC Indoor Championship.
Hall (Pentathlon) and Stark (60mH) each added gold medals of their own after successful weekends. Hall dominated her competition with a new school record of 4618 points. Stark ran 7.91 in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles to claim the title. She also finished fourth in the 60 meters.
11 more Gators earned Second Team All-SEC honors while Sam Austin (800m) and Caleb Foster (Long Jump) earned a place on the All-Freshman Team following their performances in their respective events.
