Pierce caps off standout week by contributing 21 total yards for the American team.
MOBILE, Ala. – Zachary Carter and Dameon Pierce concluded their week representing the Gators at the 73rd edition of the Senior Bowl on Saturday.
Both Florida graduates played on the American team coached by the Detroit Lions staff as they fell to the National team 20-10.
Pierce brought the boom to Hancock Whitney Stadium on his first carry of the game, lowering his shoulder for a six-yard run. He finished with 16 yards on five carries and one reception for five yards.
Carter started at defensive end and played the majority of the game along the defensive line. He registered a solo tackle in the fourth-quarter. The duo brought the grand total of 111 former Florida Gators to have been participants since 1950.
