
Joseph Fahnbulleh Returns to The Bowerman Men’s Watch List

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Joseph Fahnbulleh finds himself back among the nation's elite in the latest release of The Bowerman Men's Watch List, the USTFCCCA announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Hopkins, Minn. native appeared on the first two releases of the season before missing a majority of the indoor season.
Fahnbulleh has been outstanding over the duration of the outdoor season. At the Texas Relays in March, he anchored Florida to a NCAA-leading 38.47 in the 4x100.
He helped lead the Gators to the Gold Medal at the SEC Outdoor Championships in the event as well. He was also the SEC Outdoor Runner-Up in the 200 meters.
At the NCAA East Prelims, Fahnbulleh had a phenomenal weekend which included qualifying marks in the 4x100, 100 meters and 200 meters.
In the 100 meters, he ran 10.03 in the First Round before coming back and running 10.04 in the quarterfinals to secure his spot at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
To cap off the weekend, he ran 19.85 (+4.4) in the 200 meters to punch his ticket to Eugene.
Fahnbulleh will have the chance to run up to six races over the course of the weekend across three different events.
He is the defending NCAA Outdoor Champion in the 200 meters and will have the chance to repeat in his primary event in Oregon.
Fahnbulleh will play a crucial role as the Gators chase the team title this weekend at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

The next update (June 21st) will reveal the semifinalists.
Finalists for The Bowerman are set to be unveiled on June 27th.
