Florida Places Five on SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

Marina Escobar, Maisie Filler, Annabell Fuller Jenny Kim and Clara Manzalini all received league recognition. 
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Florida women's golfers Marina Escobar, Maisie Filler, Annabell Fuller and Jenny Kim all placed on the 2022 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll, the league announced Wednesday.

Every Gator that was eligible collected conference honor roll recognition and earned it for the multiple time, including Kim who received her third and Manzalini her fourth.    

Between lacrosse, baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track & field, the University of Florida had an astounding 124 student-athletes named to the Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll.

To be recognized for the SEC Academic Honor Roll, each student-athlete must meet the following criteria: 1) have a GPA of 3.00 for either the preceding academic year or have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above at the nominating institution; 2) be on scholarship, a letterwinner or have participated on a varsity team for two years if non-scholarship; 3) have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at the nominating institution; and 4) have been a member of the varsity team for the sport's entire NCAA Championship segment.
