Week six was all about reunions for former Gators in NFL action
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – This week was all about reunions for former Gators, both on and off the field. Here are all of the best moments and performances by former Florida Gators in week six of NFL action
Offensive Highlights
After a breakout week in Atlanta for Kyle Pitts last Sunday, he continued his upward trajectory with his first touchdown of his campaign, and his first since October 30th of last season. The former All-American then proceeded to hit what may go down as the smoothest "Shopping Cart" dance in recorded history.
In other news out of Fulton county, the Falcons made a move for another former Gator, WR Van Jefferson. After three seasons with the Rams, with which he won a Super Bowl in 2021, Jefferson is now reunited with Kyle Pitts in the ATL.
Defensive Highlights
This portion of Gators in the NFL may just have to be renamed "Alex Anzalone Highlights" with the year that the Detroit Linebacker is having. Anzalone balled out yet again, leading the Lions' defense with nine total tackles, seven solo, and one tackle for loss en route to a win over Tampa.
After the game, Anzalone celebrated with his parents, who returned home safely from Israel this past week during the conflict in the region.

Moments like this put everything in perspective. Sometimes we take family for granted, especially parents. We tend to think think they'll always be here for us. Love you Mom and Dad, more than you know ❤️ pic.twitter.com/WygAjJRMRP
