Gators in the NFL: Week 8

A kicker steals the show and seals a win in week 8
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After Florida left one NFL stadium Saturday evening, 42 former Gators arrived to theirs Sunday morning. Week 8 has come and gone, so here's how every Gator did in NFL action.
Offensive Highlights
As much as Gator Nation may have beef with the whole state of Georgia at the moment, two former Gators are making it happen in the peach state's capital. Kyle Pitts and Van Jefferson connected for 6 receptions and 59 yards collectively, accounting for almost a quarter of Atlanta's air attack.
It's hard to find moments to appreciate Offensive Linemen. They don't appear in the box score, but linemen are the driving force behind any effective offense. This week 8, we're giving shout outs to our OL starters. Rookie Guard O'Cyrus Torrence has been a staple of the Buffalo's line, which has allowed the fewest sack yards in the NFL this season. D.J. Humphries of the Cardinals has been in Arizona since 2016, and made 91 career starts. We love our Gator linemen!

Special Teams Highlights
Eddy Piniero had a big day, nailing three of three field goals in the Panthers' win over Houston. Pineiro's kick sealed the Panthers' first victory of this season.
