Final Round of Williams Cup Set for Tomorrow

Florida sits in 8th with four Gators tied for 19th.
WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Florida men's golf team will head into the final round of the Williams Cup tomorrow after finishing 8th through 36holes on Monday.
The Gators shot rounds of 297 (Rd. 1) and 299 (Rd. 2) at Eagle Point Golf Club as host North Carolina is currently in the lead at 16-under.
A trio of Florida golfers - Ian Gilligan, Matthew Kress, Luke Poulter - led the lineup on day one as they are all tied for 19th. Kress bounced back after a 76 (+4) in round one with a 72 (E) as Gilligan shot a 72 (E) in the opening round.
Competing as an individual, Tyler Wilkes shot the low round for the Orange and Blue. He made his season debut with a first round of 3-under 69 that only featured two bogeys. The senior is the fourth Gator tied for 19th. Ryan Hart is also an individual this week and sits in 53rd.
The rest of the lineup features Parker Bell and Quentin Debove tied for 42nd.
