No. 3/5 Florida Posts Five School Records in Day 2 of Georgia Invite

ATHENS, Ga. – Florida put up record-breaking numbers on day two of the Georgia Invite, as five new school records were set. Both squads finished with a combined eight first-place finishes.
No. 3 Florida men sit atop the leaderboard with 760 points, over 250 points ahead of second place Georgia. No. 5 Florida women sit in first at 710.5, 186 points ahead of Auburn's 424.5. To note, both scores do not include the diving portion, as they are included in the final event sheets tomorrow.
Finals:
Women's 200 Medley Relay
The A team of Bella Sims, Molly Mayne, Olivia Peoples, and Isabel Ivey set a new school record with a 1:34.18.
The B team finished 8th with 1:38.68 followed by C team's 1:38.82 finish.
Men's 200 Medley Relay
Florida's A team, Adam Chaney, Aleksas Savickas, Josh Liendo and Macguire McDuff's 1:23.02 is now the seventh-best in Florida history. The B-team finished third with 1:24.11 and C team came in ninth after swimming a 1:26.65.
Women's 400 IM
A-Final - Florida went 1-2-3, as Bella Sims dropped seven seconds off her preliminary time to record the top-time nationally, 4:01.47. The freshman earned the top-spot and is now third in UF all-time. Emma Weyant followed in second after clocking a 4:03.65, shaving almost three whole seconds off her prelim time. Zoe Dixon finished in third with a 4:06.25, dropping almost five seconds off her prelim time. Julia Podkoscielny finished sixth with 4:10.29 and Anna Auld finished eight with 4:12.24.
B-final - Camille DeBoer earned 11th with 4:15.38, followed by Amanda Ray's 4:15.38 time. Madison Kolessar's 4:17.35 time put her in 13th.
C-Final - Alex Mitchell finished 20th with 4:20.90
Men's 400 IM
A-Final - Giovanni Linscheer led the way for Florida after cutting 3.15 seconds of his prelim time to finish third in 3:42.60. Mason Laur placed seventh after swimming a 3:47.38.
B-Final – Florida went 1-2-3-, as Eric Brown led the way placing ninth overall after clocking a 3:43.76. Josh Parent followed with a 3:46.37 and Andrew Taylor swam a 3:48.13 to earn 11th, while Peter Bretzmann (3:50.45), Amadeusz Knop (3:50.78) and Jack VanDeuson (3:51.94) finished 14-15-16.
C-final - Aryan Nehra finished 20th, dropping 2.56 off his time to record a 3:51.65 final time.
Women's 100 Fly
A-Final - The second school record of the night was Isabel Ivey's 50.60. Olivia Peoples finished second with 51.72, while Aris Runnels' swam a 53 flat for eighth.
Men's 100 Fly
A-Final - Joshua Liendo continues to put up fast times, zooming to a first-place finish with a 44.39, Scotty Buff earned fourth with 46.25
B-Final - Billy Jones' 47.23 put him in 14th overall.
Women's 200 Free
A-Final - Ekaterina Nikonova finished in the top-five after swimming a 1:44.32, to earn fifth.
B-Final - Lainy Kruger dropped 1.14 seconds off her prelim time to earn 11th overall with 1:45.62.
Men's 200 Free
A-Final – The Gators had three men finish in the top-eight. Macguire McDuff posted a second-place finish time of 1:33.14, followed by Jake Mitchell's 1:33.17. Freshman Sean Sullivan finished 8th with 1:35.45.
B-Final - Oskar Lindholm came in tenth with 1:34.31
Women's 100 Breast
A-Final - Freshman Molly Mayne broke another school record to finish on-top after zipping to a 58.68. Grace Rainey's 1:00.86 becomes eight on UF's all-time top 10 list and was fifth-place in the A-Final. Olivia Peoples touched the wall in 1:01.69 to finish eight.
B-Final - Anna Moore came in 11th with 1:01.66. Melissa Cowen finished 16th with 1:02.57 and Molly Golding's 1:05.77 put her in 24th.
Men's 100 Breast
A-Final - Julian Smith clocked a 52.15 to finish second, followed closely by Aleksas Savickas' 52.51 fourth-place finish.
B-Final - Rapchael Rached Windmuller was 10th with a 53.31 and Peter Bretzmann came in 12th after touching the wall in 53.76.
Women's 100 Back
A-Final – Two Florida swimmers tied for third after both Aris Runnels and Catherine Choate clocked a 52.45. Freshman Carly Meeting was close behind in sixth, after swimming a 52.96.
B-Final – JoJo Ramey came in 16th with a 54.54.
Men's 100 Back
A-Final – Freshman Jonny Marshall swam a 45.57 for a fifth-place finish.
B-Final – Adam Chaney cut a second off his prelim tine for a 45.27 time to earn ninth. Cam Abaqueta's 47.27 put him in 15th, followed by Scotty Buff's 47.53.
Women's 800 Free Relay
The A- team of Isabel Ivey, Bella Sims, Ekaterina Nikonova and Micayla Cronk broke another school record, as the four swam to a 6:56.49. As the leadoff in the relay, Isabel Ivey becomes second in on Florida's all-time top-ten list for the 200 free. The B-team clocked a 7"09.38 for a fifth-place finish.
Men's 800 Free Relay
The men's A-Team of Josh Liendo, Jake Mitchell, Julian Smith, and Macguire McDuff gave Florida the relay sweep, clocking a 6:17.82. The B-Team finished in fourth with a 6:24.42, and the C-team followed in seventh after posting a 6:28.65.
Men's 1-meter diving
Freshman standout Conor Gesing set a new 1-meter school record after scoring a 369.75.
