GAINESVILLE, Fla. – As announced by the Southeastern Conference and Associated Press,
Princely Umanmielen and
Jeremy Crawshaw are being recognized for their play during the 2023 college football season by being named members of various All-SEC teams.
Umanmielen was tabbed to both the Coaches All-SEC Second Team and the Associated Press All-SEC Second Team while Crawshaw landed a spot on the Associated Press All-SEC Second Team.
Princely Umanmielen
Starring on the Gators defensive line with a team-best 76.3 PFF grade, Umanmielen racked up career highs in sacks (7.0) and tackles for loss (11.5) this past season. The Manor, Tex. native also totaled 39 tackles (22 solo) while starting all 12 games for the Orange & Blue. This honor comes just a week after Umanmielen was named to the
USA Today Sports Network All-SEC Team.
Jeremy Crawshaw
Crawshaw completed a strong junior season with the Gators as he set the Gators all-time season record for net punting average (48.9 on 42 punts). He also totaled seven punts for 60-yards or more, a career best 21 punts of 50-yards or more, 15 inside the opponent's 20-yard line and a long of 68 yards.
