GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida baseball program released its schedule of promotions for the upcoming 2023 campaign on Tuesday, featuring a surplus of premium giveaways for fans as the Gators open the season this Friday, Feb. 17 vs. Charleston Southern.
All season long, Gator fans attending baseball games at Condron Family Ballpark have the opportunity to take advantage of a fresh array of giveaways, prizes, contests and specially-themed nights under the lights. Beginning Opening Night on Friday at 7 p.m., rally towels will be handed out to the first 5,000 fans through the gates. 2023 team posters will also be distributed all weekend, with Florida baseball magnets available on the concourse throughout Sunday's 1 p.m. tilt. Fans can even enter to win a game-worn jersey during the series finale.
The first 5,000 fans in attendance on Opening Night (Friday, Feb. 17) will receive a Florida baseball rally towel.
Opening Weekend is also set to feature an all-time Gator Great in attendance. Former Florida star and 15-year MLB veteran Darren O'Day will handle ceremonial first-pitch honors on Opening Night, fresh off announcing his retirement in January after a remarkable pro career.
Other notable 2023 promotions include: pint glasses for UF students (Feb. 24 vs. Cincinnati), crew necks for UF students (March 3 vs. Miami), stemless wine glasses (March 16 vs. Alabama), St. Patty's Day shirts (March 17 vs. Alabama), Florida baseball hats (April 16 vs. Georgia) and a pair of Student Prize-a-Paloozas (March 31 vs. Auburn, April 28 vs. Missouri).
Located in the outfield, Dizney Grove at Condron Family Ballpark once again features fan-favorite food trucks all weekend long, including Cilantro Tacos, Halo Donuts and much more. Be sure to visit the new concessions stand behind the batter's eye with additional Adirondack chairs out in Dizney Grove. Along with each of these items comes the return of fried key lime pie, the signature item at Condron Family Ballpark.
