Gators Football to Hold Open Practice During Fall Camp

The open practice will be held inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 5.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators Head Coach Billy Napier announced Friday that the Florida football team will hold an open practice Saturday, Aug. 5 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
 
Gates will open at 2 p.m. and fans can enter through Gate 1 and 6. Admission to the stadium is free. Gate 18 will serve as the only exit point at the end of practice.
 
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium's gameday prohibited items and clear bag policy will be in effect. Fans can become familiar with the list of prohibited items by clicking here.
 
Select concessions stands will be open, as snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Additionally, the Gators Sportshop will be open near Gate 9.
 
Restrooms will be open throughout the main concourse of the stadium.
 
Fans are encouraged to visit the University of Florida's Transportation and Parking Services website, or click here, for information regarding parking restrictions and available parking lots around the stadium.

Saturday's practice will open to the public, weather permitting only.

The Gators will open camp Sunday, July 30 and the team will hold its first practice of the 2023 season on Monday, July 31. Saturday's event will be the only practice open to the public.
 
The Gators will kick off the season when they travel to Salt Lake City to face Utah Thursday, Aug. 31. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
