GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Gators head coach Billy Napier invited a special guest to speak to the team Friday morning.
Florida fans know him well: former All-American and NFL defensive lineman Kevin Carter.
"I met Kevin a little bit over a year ago and was very impressed,'' Napier said. "And let me tell you something, he gave us 30 minutes of absolute fire. I mean, this guy was passionate and really challenged our players in a lot of ways."
After opening by discussing Carter's visit, Napier addressed the latest injury to defensive lineman Justus Boone, Thursday's scrimmage and other camp topics.
